Her roommate had transferred out of the school and she now had to room to herself once again. No real sleep had come to the girl in a while, but that didn’t matter. She no longer allowed herself behind the wheel of a car, so there would be no repeat performance of her accident. Sulli’s stitches would come out in a few days and everything would be just fine. She continued to lay on the floor and stare up at the ceiling. Nothing seemed right anymore, and she hated that it seemed she couldn’t do anything to make any of it better. She looked at the calendar and internally sighed as she mentally counted how many days she had left. Eleven. Eleven days.
The girl dreaded this day, even though people had promised to be with her, it wasn’t the same. Suddenly, her mind wandered off and she thought about what it would be like to fly away. Be so high in the sky that no one could touch you. Feel the breeze below you and play in the clouds… Unfortunately, she was grounded. She shook her head and sighed before mumbling to herself. “I’m going to take a shower.”
